For membership information or for more information about the club,
WELCOME TO THE KELOWNA CORVETTE CLUB!
The Kelowna Corvette Club was formed in 1995 and is a non profit society.
We have an outgoing group of members who share one thing in common, their love for Corvettes and the desire to be around others who share in the thrill of owning one.
KCC (Kelowna Corvette Club) belongs to The Canadian Council of Corvette Clubs, Western Region, (CCCC) and its members participate in CCCC events. CCCC is an association of Corvette Clubs from Manitoba to Vancouver Island and is basically a sanctioning body that handles the rules, guidelines and insurance to bring clubs in Western Canada together.
We hold monthly dinner meetings throughout the year to discuss club business and to socialize. We encourage prospective members to attend 2 meetings prior to submitting a membership application.
KCC is involved in many activities including hosting and attending car shows as a group, scenic day tours, a 2-week summer trip and hosting 11 autocross events. The autocross is the one event where driving skills are exercised. The vehicles are driven through an obstacle course set up in a parking lot with traffic cones. Each car is timed as to how fast it can maneuver through the course. Any cones hit are added to the driver’s time. The vehicles are separated into classes, therefore you get individual class winners for men and ladies.
The autocross events are the main way KCC makes money in order to donate to a variety of different charities such as the Good News Bears, the Cancer Society, the Diabetes Society, etc. We therefore encourage all members to support the autocross events.
KCC is also involved in numerous social activities including, BBQs, bowling, our annual Christmas Party and other activities suggested by members. Anyone interested in our club and its activities, please contact our Membership Coordinator, Neile Griffith @ 250-763-1115.
