Mt. Rushmore

In July we traveled to Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, Spearfish, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana.

The first day saw huge rain. Fortunately the remaining days were all sunny and hot.

The trip was  a great success and we saw a lot of the countryside and tourist attractions.

Notable events included:

• A deer hitting one of the cars (in a long line of traffic).
• Jim (least likely to be speeding) was last in line and pulled over by the Montana police. No ticket.
• Some wonderful winding roads.
• Steve passed through a construction mud section which went up the the tire hubs in depth. The car came out of it amazingly well though.
• Having a Lamborgini park beside us because he liked our cars.
